Basic Qualifications:

·  Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by law or contractual requirements

·  Must have a high school diploma or GED.

·  At least one verifiable employer.

·  No criminal convictions.

·  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

·  Ability to write detailed reports.

·  Authorized to work in the United States.

·  No recent drug history, over 3 years since last usage of any illegal or illicit drug

·  Neat and professional appearance.

·  Ability to provide quality customer service.

·  Ability to handle typical and crisis situations effectively and efficiently.

·  Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards.

·  Ability to perform essential functions of the position without reasonable commendation.

·  Ability to stand extended periods of time and work in increment weather.

·  Ability to work rotating shifts, days, and/or hours.

·  Ability to work holidays and/or weekends, as required or needed.

·  Ability to be certified as an Security Officer by the State of Florida or currently certified.

·  Ability to respond to emergencies and/or calls for service promptly.

·  Ability to understand and carry out his/her orders including post procedures, enforcement of duties and responsibilities, and client business policies, rules, and regulations.

·  Security Officer background is a plus.

·  Bi-lingual a plus.

·  Has morals and ethics.

·  Conduct oneself professionally and respectfully on and off duty

Security Officer

Job Description:  Conduct Patrol, Roving Patrol, and/or man post as instructed.  Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client business rule infractions / violations.  Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or activity at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the business, property, clients, employees, visitors, and others alike visiting and/.or entering the business or area to be secured.  Report all incidents (minor or major), accidents, mishap, injuries, and medical emergencies.  Respond to emergencies, such as medical, fire, alarm, bomb threats, disturbances, and/or calls for assistance as needed in accordance with emergency response proceedings, standard operating procedures, and guideline set for the site.
